Proposal training this fall at apmp and your office

That is what the message said, proposal training this fall at apmp and your office. Shocked to see someone offering proposal training, I opened it. The message was from Dennis Fitzgerald--24 Hour Company and said, in short, that "Several chapters of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) have engaged Mike Parkinson and Colleen Jolly, partners and senior designers at 24 Hour Company, to present at their chapter events this fall. These sessions will show proposal managers how to add compelling "bid-winning" graphics to their proposals--no matter how they produce their visuals--using freelancers, temps or in-house designers."

Now, I do not know any of these folks. (I swear.) I know nothing about them but they automatically go to the top of the proposal graphics trainer list. Why? Because no one else has ever sent me a note! Besides, it says they are, "the industry's premiere proposal graphics presenters and authors, featured at APMP national and local chapter events and in their publications."

So, here's to Mike Parkinson, Colleen Jolly and the 24 Hour Company. Now if we could only get the Greater Midwest Chapter up and running again so they could come and speak...
